What is an Associate's Degree?

An Associate’s Degree is typically a two year post-secondary degree program.  During this period, the student will complete basic educational requirements and begin coursework related to the field of their chosen field.

This type of degree is designed to provide students with general academic knowledge.  It prepares the student to posses transferable skills necessary to gain employment or paves the road to further study in their area of study.
